Nursery Assisant Bank Staff are required at Little Stars Nursery at Swindon College.

£7.26 per hour

We are seeking to recruit Nursery Assistants to sign up to our ‘Bank of Staff’ to help provide flexible, short term, interim care to children in Little Stars.
You will show the ability to ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children placed in the Nursery. Key roles include:
• Giving support to other personnel within the Nursery.
• Following a daily routine.
• Formulate and operate a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in your room/unit/group that promote the Early Years foundation Stage.

You will hold an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare and Education (or equivalent). You will also have experience of working in a childcare setting.

(Please be aware that due to the nature of the role, immediate work is not always guaranteed.)
Holding Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications in Maths and English will be an essential requirement for this role. (or the commitment to gaining within 24 months).
